The Wedding duties of a professional Toastmaster

Prior to the day Nigel will happily pay you a visit at the venue.
A chance to say hello to you and offer you some useful tips
and wedding advice on such things as speeches, table plans, etc.

On the day

He is responsible for the overall co-ordination and smooth
running of the event. The Toastmaster arrives early and liaises
with the venue management checking that everything is in place.
He will go over the timings and table place settings and run
through the schedule once more

Your wedding photographer will be assured of Nigel's
assistance at all times. Including arranging guest groups
if the photographer wishes, whilst paying attention to
the wedding timetable. Photographers see this as a great help.
Keeping to the schedule keeps catering staff very happy !

He will meet and greet the Groom, and groomsmen, say hello to
bridesmaids and important family members as they arrive.   
All this will have been discussed at your pre- wedding visit at the venue

At the wedding reception he is there to meet and greet all guests, discreetly offering them guidance with cloakrooms and where they
are to go. He can take responsibilty for wedding gifts as they arrive, and arrange for the gifts and cards to be displayed properly.

Prior to the wedding breakfast or celebration, Nigel will help with the reception line-up if you are having one, and announce the start of proceedings.

Throughout the meal Nigel will be on hand to meet with any requirements. He will announce the cutting of the cake, and assist your photographer to have a couple of minutes priority time to take the posed cake shots. When the time for speeches arrives, he will
request your guests to be attentive and will introduce the speakers in the right order. Should you wish to give gifts to parents and the attendants, Nigel can be ready with all packages and flower arrangements in the correct order.

Throughout the day, he will keep an eye on proceedings, putting guests at their ease and dealing with any small problems that arise.
At all times he will remain dignified and formal, but friendly and approachable. He can stage manage the whole day if you wish or be there to just guide the day in the right direction. Leaving you to thoroughly enjoy your wedding day relaxed and confident, knowing
that you have your own personal minder and master of ceremonies.

The cost including the pre wedding meeting and Nigel's service for the wedding is £290 with no vat and no extras
A small price to pay for reassurance don't you think ?
Although Dorset based, Nigel is delighted to travel to events throughout the South West and further afield by appointment.
